Salary and tax estimates
The US Salary & Paycheck Calculator, Take-Home Pay Calculator and Hourly to Salary Converter produce estimates for general information only. They are not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and they are not a substitute for a qualified professional or official IRS and state guidance.
- Estimates use 2026 federal figures published by the IRS and SSA, and only the state rules listed as supported. Each source is linked in the calculator.
- They assume wages are your only income and that you take the standard deduction. Credits (such as the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit), itemized deductions, other income, local and city taxes, the qualified tips and overtime deductions, and many other factors are not included.
- Results are estimated annual tax liabilities spread over your paychecks. Your employer’s actual withholding follows your Form W-4 and IRS Publication 15-T and may differ.
- Tax law can change after the date the calculator was last verified.
The calculators are not affiliated with, certified by or endorsed by the IRS, the Social Security Administration or any state agency.
File conversion and editing
Converted documents reproduce content and structure as well as the libraries described on each tool page allow; layout, fonts and some formatting can change. The PDF editor adds new content on top of pages and does not rewrite existing text. Covering text with a shape is not a secure redaction.
Compression
Compression results depend on the file. Lossy compression reduces image quality. Reported sizes are the real sizes of the generated files; we never claim a reduction that did not happen.
Security features
Password protection uses standard PDF encryption. Permission settings (such as “no printing”) are honored by most readers but can be ignored by some software. A watermark discourages copying but can be removed with editing software. See Privacy & security.
Always keep your originals
Our tools never modify the file you choose — they create a new one — but you should keep backups of anything important.
