Quick access to frequently used tools.
How to use it
- Open a PDF. Use the page list to move between pages and the zoom controls to fit the page or its width.
- Pick a tool — Text, Image, Rectangle, Ellipse, Line, Arrow, Highlight, Draw or Note — then click or drag on the page.
- Select an item to change its color, size or thickness, or delete it. Undo and Redo work for every change.
- If the PDF has fillable fields, fill them in the Form fields panel.
- Select Save PDF to download the edited copy. Your original file is not changed.
Limits and known limitations
- Additions are placed as a new layer on top of the page. The editor does not rewrite text that already exists in the PDF; to change existing wording, cover it with a white rectangle and add new text, knowing the original text is still present underneath.
- Covering content with a shape is not redaction: the hidden text can still be copied or extracted. Do not use it to remove sensitive information.
- Added text uses the standard PDF fonts (Helvetica, Times, Courier), which support Latin characters only.
- Highlights mark a rectangular area; they are drawn, not linked to the underlying words.
- Form filling supports text fields, checkboxes, dropdowns, list boxes and radio buttons in standard AcroForm PDFs. XFA forms and signature fields are not supported.
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit the existing text in my PDF?
Not directly. Reliable editing of existing PDF text requires matching embedded fonts and rebuilding the page layout, which this editor does not do. You can add new text, and cover old text with a white box, but the original text remains in the file underneath.
Are the notes real PDF comments?
Yes. Notes are saved as standard PDF text annotations, so they appear as comment icons in Adobe Acrobat, Preview and other readers.
Can I sign a PDF?
You can draw your signature with the Draw tool or place an image of it. This is a visual signature, not a cryptographic digital signature.
