How to use it

Limits and known limitations

  • The watermark is drawn into the page content, but determined users can still remove it with PDF editing software. It deters casual copying; it is not a security measure.
  • Helvetica is used, so watermark text must use Latin characters.

Can the watermark be removed?

Not with ordinary PDF readers, but anyone with PDF editing software could remove it. For stronger control, combine a watermark with password protection.
