How to use it
- Drop your PDFs into the box or choose them with the file picker.
- Use the arrows to put the files in the order you want, or remove any you added by mistake.
- If a file is password protected, enter its password when asked.
- Select Merge PDFs, then download the result.
Limits and known limitations
- Up to 50 files, 200 MB each and 500 MB combined; the merged file may contain up to 2,000 pages. Very large merges depend on your device’s memory.
- Bookmarks (outlines) from the source files are not carried over. Links and form fields within pages generally are, but complex interactive forms may not work after merging.
- PDFs whose author has disabled page assembly are not merged, because this tool respects document restrictions.
- If an input was password protected, the merged PDF is not. Use Protect PDF afterwards if you need a password.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
You can merge up to 50 PDFs at once, each up to 200 MB, with a combined limit of 500 MB. Those limits keep the browser responsive on typical laptops and phones.
Will merging reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Yes, if you know the password. You will be asked for it, and the merged document is saved without a password.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Merging happens entirely in your browser; you can confirm this in your browser’s developer tools, where no file upload request appears.
